Hongqi Fan faithfully serves Bangkok Chicago Christian International School (BCCI) as the Chair of the Board of Trustees. He is an alumnus of Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, where he graduated in 1998. He later earned his MBA from the Seldman School of Business at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. After completing his formal education, Mr. Fan was called to establish Knowledge Tree, Inc., an organization committed to fostering education and cultural exchange between North America and Asia. Hongqi Fan, along with his wife, currently resides in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.
Henry Doorn is a proud graduate of Chicago High School and Trinity Christian College, both located near Chicago, IL. Before dedicating his career to education, Henry gained extensive experience in the corporate, financial, and investment management sectors in the USA. He also served for 15 years as the Executive Director of the Barnabas Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists Christian individuals and families with estate planning and complex charitable contributions. As a member of the BCCI Board of Trustees, Henry has recently retired as the Superintendent of the Southwest Chicago Christian School. He resides in Palos Heights, IL.
Caleb serves as the Superintendent of Bangkok Chicago Christian International School (BCC). He is the founder of Root Education, an organization dedicated to providing parental training in China through “Mission, Character, and Service Program for the past 20 years. Currently, Caleb and his wife reside in Bangkok, Thailand, where he continues to faithfully fulfill his role as the school’s Superintendent.
Paul brings over 25 years of teaching and school management experience to his role. A New Zealand native born, Paul began his teaching career as a science and physics teacher at Roskill Grammar School in Auckland. In 1999, he moved to Hong Kong, where he spent 18 years at the International Christian School Hong Kong. There, he taught Science, Physics, instrumental Music, and Technical Theater, and later served in middle management, event coordination, and managing the school theater.
In 2018, Paul became the inaugural Head of School for the International Division at the Peking University Experimental School in Suqian, China. Before joining Bangkok Chicago Christian International School (BCCI), he was the International Principal at Joy International School in Huai’an, China.
Mac is a dedicated educator and pastor who graduated from Trinity Christian College and earned his M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1991. He served in pastoral ministry in western Colorado for over five years before returning to the Chicago area. There, he worked at Timothy Christian Schools in Elmhurst, IL, for 24 years as a middle school and high school Bible teacher, chapel coordinator, and leader of various extracurricular activities.
Mac joined the staff of Bangkok Chicago Christian International School (BCCI) in August 2023, where he serves as the campus pastor at Trinity Community Church. He has been married to his wife, Jeanne, for over 30 years, and they have two adult children.
Dr. Dinglei Huang (Ding Ding) is a teacher educator in mathematics education and an experienced high school teacher of mathematics, economics, and entrepreneurship. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from University College London, U.K., and both M.A. and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from The Ohio States University. She experienced working with teachers and students at K-12 and college levels. Ding Ding became a follower of Christ at college. She began teaching at BCCI remotely when the school started in 2020. With a vision for global Christian education, Ding Ding and her family moved to Bangkok in 2023. She is passionate about using her experience and professional knowledge to prepare her students for the next generation.
