Statement of Faith

Article 1
We believe the entire Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the complete and only revelation concerning our salvation and is our only rule for both our faith and our practice.

Article 2
We believe in the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is truly divine and truly human. We believe in his atoning death and bodily resurrection and that he is the way, the truth, the life, and our only source of salvation.

Article 3
We believe God created the world good, that humans fell into sin and that through his grace and love, God provided a way to redeem and renew us through the life, work and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.

Article 4
We accept the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, The Chalcedonian Creed and the Athanasian Creed, as an inheritance from the early church and as accurate and concise expressions of biblical truth.

Article 5
We accept the five cardinal principles of the Protestant Reformation – Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone),Sola Gratia (Grace alone),Sola Fide (faith alone),Solo Christo (Christ alone) and Soli Deo Gloria (for the glory of God alone) as fundamental principles for the life, work and witness of the Church. We also accept The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Heidelberg Catechism as faithful summations of biblical truth.

Article 6
We believe that the church today relies on the power of the Holy Spirit through the proclamation of the Good News to continuously renew individuals, families, and the world.
